MINDBEAM
BRAND LAUNCH EXPLAINER
Mindbeam was a motion graphics explainer built on a modest budget, with the only existing brand assets being a logo and color scheme. That meant leaning almost entirely on stock footage and motion graphics to carry the story, and the real job was making that combination feel intentional rather than generic: picking footage that actually served each story beat, then using motion design to stitch it all into one cohesive piece instead of a stock reel with a logo dropped on top.
One shot needed more than stock could offer, so we built a bespoke CG physics simulation of acetaminophen pills growing into a mountain, a moment that didn't exist anywhere as stock footage and had to be created from scratch to land the point visually.
The score got the same treatment. We took a royalty-free track and got into the stems, reshaping individual elements to land on the moments where the piece leans into innovation and momentum. Same license as any other royalty-free track, but by the end it felt scored specifically for this film. A full sound design pass on top of that, foley, transitions, the details that usually get skipped on a budget like this one, is what pushed it from stock footage with music over it into something that actually feels finished.
Since this was direct to client, we owned everything: story, visuals, music, and sound, working within a tight scope to make it feel bigger than its budget.
