HOKA

Clifton Pro

This project supported the launch of the Clifton PRO, HOKA's first entry into their PRO series, and was about building a visual library for the editorial team to pull from rather than delivering one locked sequence. We generated a wide range of CG assets around the shoe's durability and flexibility story, shots like a wind tunnel simulation showing the Clifton PRO held up against real force, and a cage simulation visualizing structural give under stress. Alongside that, we built 2D design explorations that stood in for the shoe's real-world design process, giving editorial a way to visualize construction and material choices before the physical product itself was the reference point.

The tight turnaround made volume and reliability just as important as any single shot. Early on, the cage simulation came back too dense and reading as physically wrong, and the fix was dropping to a lower density cage to get the physics believable again, without losing time we didn't have.

We leaned on X-Particles specifically for the wind tunnel sim and native Cinema 4D for everything else on the 3D side, giving editorial a real library to build the final piece from rather than a single fixed answer.
